O'Dell's - Calvert Avenue

I know I’ve mentioned O’Dell’s in a few other posts, but I love it in there, and thought it was about time I shared it on the blog. The shop has fast grown a reputation for simple but beautifully designed mens lifestyle gifts and products; and was opened on Calvert Avenue, near Arnold Circus in Shoreditch back in June of 2014, by Tom O’Dell the shops namesake. After working 10 years within the fashion industry, Tom heard about the shop space and decided it was prime time to set up his own business, something he’d always wanted to do – kind of a now or never situation. Since then the range of products has grown and developed, and he has now opened two pop-up shops, one round my neck of the woods at Daily Goods coffee house in Camberwell and the second at the Town Hall Hotel on Bethnal Green Road.

Although the stock ranges from Musgo fragrances & premium leather wallets to the handcrafted Turner & Harper brushes, O’Dell’s entire selection of products work perfectly as a collection; outlining the style of the brand. You’ll find Made in England Derby’s and Brogue’s, sitting next to roll-top bags and handmade scissors. Covering grooming, lifestyle, home and mens fashion, the later of which includes his own range of knitwear, my favourite pieces being the crews and roll necks. O’Dell is even currently working on expanding his own menswear collection, which should be ready for sale by April of this year.

It’s a lovely wee store, yet your photos make it look bigger. Good work! I like it down that way.
