Columbia Road Flower Market

Somedays it’s just nice to have a wander, a stroll with no real aim or need to rush; I often find London a bit hectic and sometimes just need to have a chill day, but I always seem to get itchy feet if I spend my weekend at home not doing anything. Which is why on a Sunday B & I often find ourselves having a saunter down to columbia road flower market – I know it doesn’t seem like the sort of thing to chill you out, but for me theres something really nice about being in a really hectic place but without the need to rush about, with no direction or aim to achieve. We always do the same route, stopping off at the vintage crockery shop first, then down through the centre of the market, sussing out who has the best deals, and then spending 10 minutes at the succulent stand debating on whether or not we really have room for just one more plant. I absolutely love it – we don’t always end up buying anything and it is always rammed, but the atmosphere is great and its only a short walk away from Arnold Circus, with Redchurch & Calvert Street to explore.

Thanks Ally, to be honest I don’t have any special tips when it comes to taking photos, I just always try to take them through the day when the lighting is at its best, and I always just take loads of pictures and then work through them in the hope that some have worked well :S happy snapping
