Christmas Gift Guide

16th December 2015

Gift Guide

Christmas truly seems to be kicking off; this week has been so hectic with seasonal events, mulled wine and mince pies on Saturday evening, the Christmas pub quiz tonight. I’ve also been trying to squeeze in Christmas shopping whenever I can, but I love it, this time of year wouldn’t be the same without all the hysteria which goes with it. I thought it was prime time to give you another Christmas gift to ease the strain of finding presents.

Gift Guide

Allpress Christmas Blend:

Good Coffee is a love of mine, and there’s very few people who don’t appreciate a nice brew. I normally drink their Redchurch blend, but have lately been sipping their limited Christmas blend.

The Collective Quarterly – Made River:

This is a great little publication I picked up for B, I admit I picked it up initially because of the rubberised front cover but its a really good read. The Collective Quarterly is documents the life and work of those living purposefully, the Mad River (issue 2) is based solely on Vemront in the U.S. This is the latest issue but I’m pretty sure you can pre-order the next one.

Gift Guide

Maxy Belt:

This woven belt is from Brydon Brothers, it comes in a few different colour variations and has a leather strapped zinc alloy buckle. Each belt is handmade, and it comes in beautiful packaging, each in a branded wooden box. They are a relatively new brand and have some lovely stuff; they’re based in London but have an online store and are definitely worth checking out.

Fisherman Hat:

As I’m sure I’ve mentioned before, I don’t have the best track record with looking after my beanies. This dark green hat is from John Lewis, it has a really nice ribbed knit.

Gift Guide

Tobacco Twist Jumper:

I know this jumper is pretty simple, but the fit was really nice and I thought the colour would go pretty well with most things. Of course, I’ve added an RSPB pin-badge, this ones a festive Robin.

Banded Socks:

These are from COS, who always have a nice selection of socks, and they’re not normally too pricey either.

Good choices man, I always appreciate a good flat lay. The jumper seems like the kind of thing I would throw on around this time. J
