I’ve avoided doing this kind of post for as long as I could – I was dreading it to be honest. The thought of taking and posting pictures of myself always made me feel a tad uncomfortable, but having splashed out on some new threads, I thought there really isn’t a better way to show them – so here goes!
As summer is drawing to a close I thought it was time to start updating my autumn wardrobe. Two of my regular go to menswear shops are COS and Ben Sherman, aside from the fact that I always love their products, they are both only a short walk from my work. For me COS always wins when it comes down to tees and knitwear, I always love their sharp lines and use of colour, everything is always clean-cut and not too fussy. But if you are ever in need of something slightly smarter and of really good quality then you should check out Ben Sherman.
I usually stick to their flannel or brushed cotton shirts when I shop at Ben, but on this occasion I went for something a little thinner. They released their AW15 collection the other week, and I couldn’t resist paying them a visit, I loved this shirt purely because of the colour and simplicity of the print. The shoes I bought a couple of months ago, but again they are from Ben Sherman – they’ve stopped making these now but they still have a really nice range of shoes, at really good prices. The herringbone socks I picked up from COS along with these slim-fit cotton trousers – which I love. They are slightly too thick for me to wear just yet, but when the weather begins to cool down a bit they will be spot on. I know I always seem to gravitate towards black bottoms, but I really liked the way these fitted – I have a tiny waist and always struggle to find trousers that fit.
